About the Project

This imposing warehouse is located in the industrial area of Matola.

Obra Prima was directly responsible for bush clearing, site preparation, surveying of levels and all civil works. Due to the excessive vertical wall pressure from the bulk product planned to be stored, very special care had to be taken concerning the construction of the solid reinforced concrete outer and internal dividing walls.

The warehouse was completed in 7 months, from breaking ground to handing over to the client. We are proud to say that there was no incident or injury reported during this period.

About the Team

Our very well known client, Companhia Industrial da Matola (CIM) is the largest local food producing company in Mozambique. The main contractor for this Project was Obra Prima, which worked in conjunction with other sub contractors appointed by CIM.

During this project, an average of 60 employees were used on a daily basis, this being skilled and unskilled labor.
